National workshops were training of 4-6 days and aimed at professionals responsible for or involved in urban development, housing and poverty reduction. The contents of these activities reflected on conditions and needs of each country.

National workshops were coordinated with counterparts in the respective countries and HDM in the planning, implementation and evaluation. HDM also offered educational activities for teachers and academic supervisors, during the development of these activities.
